Is there anything free on Astryx?

Yes. A large part of Astryx is free and open to anyone, no account required. Free tools include daily horoscopes for all 12 signs, zodiac sign profiles, planet sign calculators (rising, moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars), a compatibility tool, a transit calendar, a void of course moon guide, Today's Sky, and a full educational library across Astrology 101 and Astrology 102. You can explore all of it from the Discover menu.

Do I need an account to use the free tools?

No. Every free tool on Astryx is available without creating an account. An account is only needed if you want to purchase and save personalized readings.

What is the compatibility tool?

The free compatibility tool gives a quick overview of how two zodiac signs tend to interact. You pick two signs and get a read across key dimensions like emotional tone, communication style, and overall dynamic. No birth details needed, no account required. If you want a full analysis based on two actual natal charts: exact birth data, every planetary placement, eight dimensions of the connection. That is the paid compatibility reading, covered in the About readings section below.

What is Astrology 101 and Astrology 102?

Astrology 101 is a beginner-friendly library covering how astrology works, what your chart means, and how to read the key placements. Astrology 102 goes deeper, with 12 lessons across three tracks: chart interpretation, timing and cycles, and practical astrology. Both are free and written to be read in any order.

What is an Astryx reading?

An Astryx reading is a personalized astrology interpretation written specifically for your natal birth chart. It is not a generic horoscope. Every reading draws from your exact planetary placements, the transits active at the time of the reading, and the time window you select. The result is a document that speaks to your chart, your moment, and your life.

What is a compatibility reading?

A compatibility reading is a paid, in-depth analysis of how two natal charts interact. You provide birth details for both people, choose a relationship type (romantic, friendship, family, or professional), and receive a full written reading covering eight dimensions: the foundation you share, emotional attunement, romantic and physical chemistry, how you think and communicate together, growth and friction, transformation and intensity, why you found each other, and the relationship itself as its own composite entity. It is a one-time purchase at $26 and is delivered to your account immediately after payment. No subscription required.

Do I need the other person's birth time for a compatibility reading?

Birth time is helpful but not required for either person. If you have exact birth times for both, the reading will include rising signs and house placements for the full synastry picture. If you only have dates and places, the reading still covers every planetary position for both charts and all eight dimensions of the connection. Provide what you have and the reading will work with it.

Can I order more than one relationship type for the same two people?

Yes. Each relationship type (romantic, friendship, family, professional) is a separate written reading and priced individually at $26 each. You can order one type or all four in the same session. Each reading approaches the connection through a different lens, so ordering more than one is worth it if the relationship covers multiple dimensions.

How is this different from a horoscope?

A horoscope is written for your sun sign (one twelfth of the population) and is the same for everyone born under that sign on a given day. An Astryx reading is built from your full natal chart: sun, moon, rising, and every major planetary placement. No two charts are the same, so no two readings are the same.

What do the reading durations mean?

The duration you choose sets the time window the reading interprets. A Daily reading covers the energy and themes of that specific day. A Weekly reading covers the key shifts and tensions across the coming week. A Monthly reading maps the broader patterns and pivots for the month. A Yearly reading identifies the major themes, turning points, and opportunities within the year. A 2-Year reading looks at the full arc of a longer period and what this chapter of your life is building toward.

What categories are available?

Each reading focuses on one area of your life: General (your overall energy and themes), Love (relationships and emotional life), Career (direction and work), Money (resources and financial patterns), or Life Path (the longer arc of where you are headed). All five categories are available at every duration. You choose one per reading.

How long does it take to receive my reading?

Your reading is generated and delivered to your account within seconds of payment completing. There is no wait and no manual step on your end. It is ready immediately.

Where can I find my reading after purchase?

Every reading is saved permanently to your account dashboard under the Readings tab. You can return to it any time: a week later, a month later, a year later. Readings do not expire.

Can I share my reading?

Yes. Every reading page includes share options so you can send your reading to someone directly. You can copy the full text, share to X, send via WhatsApp, or use your device's native share sheet on mobile. Sharing is for personal use. Commercial redistribution is not permitted.

What information do I need to provide?

We ask for your date of birth, your birth place, and your birth time if available. The more precise the birth time, the more accurate your chart, especially for your rising sign and house placements, which shift significantly throughout the day. Birth time is helpful but not required.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

You can still get a reading. We will use your birth date and location to calculate your chart. Without an exact birth time, your rising sign and house placements cannot be determined precisely, but all planetary positions (sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and beyond) are still calculated and used in your reading. The reading will reflect your chart accurately in most areas. To find your birth time, check your birth certificate, or contact the vital records office in your birth country or state.

Can I update my birth details after creating an account?

Yes. You can edit your birth information at any time from the Settings tab in your account dashboard. Updating your details will affect all future readings generated from your chart.

What is a natal chart?

Your natal chart, also called a birth chart, is a map of where the planets were positioned in the sky at the exact moment you were born. It is unique to you, determined by your date, time, and place of birth. Astrology uses this chart as a blueprint of your character, tendencies, and life themes. Every Astryx reading begins with your natal chart.

Is my birth data safe?

Do I need a subscription?

No. Every reading is available as a one-time purchase. No account needed before buying: just enter your email at checkout, pay, and your reading is delivered instantly. Your account is created automatically on your first purchase. Subscriptions are available if you prefer automatic delivery on a set schedule, but they are entirely optional.

Can I buy more than one reading?

Yes. You can purchase as many readings as you like, across any combination of categories and durations. Each reading is stored separately in your account and saved permanently.

Do I need an account to buy a reading?

No sign-up required before purchasing. Your account is created automatically when you complete your first purchase: just enter your email at checkout, pay, and your reading and account are ready. No registration wall, no extra steps.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, one of the most trusted payment processors in the world. We never see or store your card details; they go directly to Stripe's secure systems. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.

Can I access my readings on any device?

Yes. Your account and all your readings are accessible from any browser on any device. Sign in at astryx.life and everything you have purchased will be in your Readings tab.

Should I buy a one-time reading or subscribe?

Buy a one-time reading if you want guidance for a specific moment or question. You pay once, keep it forever, and there are no recurring charges. A subscription makes sense if you want regular check-ins delivered automatically: set your cadence once and readings arrive without reordering. Subscriptions also save a significant amount compared to buying at the same frequency à la carte. A weekly subscription starts at $39.99 per month, which works out to about $10 per reading. Buying four weekly readings individually at the same cadence would cost roughly $80 per month at standard pricing. Both options use the same chart and the same quality of reading. The difference is cadence, convenience, and cost if you read regularly.

How do subscriptions work?

A subscription automatically delivers a new reading to your account on a fixed schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly) based on the plan you choose. You are billed monthly, and a fresh reading appears in your account on each delivery cycle without any action on your part.

When do subscription readings arrive?

Readings are delivered once per cycle (daily, weekly, or monthly depending on your plan). Delivery happens in the early hours of each day. You will receive an email notification when your reading is ready in your account.

Can I choose different categories each cycle?

Yes. You can set a default category for your subscription, and you can change it at any time from the Subscription tab in your account dashboard. The change takes effect for your next delivery.

I selected multiple categories. How does delivery work?

Each category you select gets its own reading every delivery cycle. On a daily plan with three categories selected, you receive three readings per day, one for each category. On a weekly plan with two categories, you receive two readings every week. This is why the price scales with the number of categories: more categories means more readings, not just more flexibility.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. You can pause your subscription for up to 30 days from the Subscription tab in your account. No reading is delivered and no charge is made during a pause. Your subscription resumes automatically at the end of the pause period.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel at any time from the Subscription tab. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Your existing readings stay in your account permanently.

What happens to my readings if I cancel?

Nothing. Every reading that was delivered to your account stays there permanently. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your readings or your account.

When am I billed?

You are billed on the same date each month, starting from the date you first subscribed. Your billing date is shown in the Subscription tab of your account dashboard.

What is the Astryx Shop?

What is the difference between a regular reading and a shop guide?

A regular reading interprets a single category (Love, Career, Money, Life Path, General) for a specific time window (day, week, month, year, two years). A shop guide is a focused deep dive on one big question that does not fit into the regular five categories. A Saturn Return Guide reads what your late twenties are restructuring. A North Node Deep Dive maps where your life is being pulled. A Big 3 Deluxe reads your Sun, Moon, and Rising in conversation. Guides are longer, more structured, and built around a single theme.

How long does it take to receive my guide?

Within a minute or two of payment, in most cases. You will get a confirmation email immediately, and a second email the moment the guide is ready in your account.

Where do I find my guides after purchase?

In your account dashboard, under the Guides tab. They are kept separate from your regular readings so the two never get confused.

Can I download my guide as a PDF?

Yes. Every guide has a Download PDF button at the bottom of the reading page. The PDF is server-rendered with a real cover page, running headers, page numbers, and proper pagination. You can save it or print it.

How do bundles work?

A bundle is two or three related guides sold together at a reduced price. When you buy a bundle, each guide inside it is generated from your chart and delivered to your account as its own entry under the Guides tab. The Self-Knowledge Starter pairs Big 3 + North Node + Saturn Return. The Birthday Bundle pairs Solar Return + Big 3. The Inner Planet Returns bundles Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter returns.
